[NEWS] 131030 Behind the Scenes, “WIN”’s Unfinished Story

YG Entertainmnent’s rookie group survival program WIN: WHO IS NEXT will be releasing an 11th episode after the final battle, showing the scenes behind it all.
The unfinished stories of the 11 WIN members that will be in Episode 11 will be broadcasted on November 1 at 10 PM KST, and will be released exclusively through YG-LIFE and Daum. In Episode 11, the stories of Team A (Song Minho, Kim Jinwoo, Lee Seunghoon, Nam Taehyun, and Kang Seungyoon) along with Team B (B.I, Kim Jinhwan, Bobby, Song Yoonhyung, Gu Joonhwe, and Kim Donghyuk) preparing for their final stage will be shown as well as their introductions.
Although ‘WIN’ has stopped at Episode 10 with the final battle, with Team A ending up as the WINNER, the show is still a hot topic.
In particular, at noon on the 28th, Team A’s Go Up and Team B’s Climax as well as their two versions of YG producer Teddy’s Just Another Boy were released as a digital album online, and with its sincerity, have been gaining much popularity. Despite having not debuted yet, their high rankings on both domestic and overseas charts have garnered them much attention.
Their digital album, “FINAL BATTLE”, ranked #1 on the iTunes album chart in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Team A’s “Go Up” was released in Korea on Naver, Daum, Bugs, Melon, Mnet, Olleh, Soribada and Cyworld, a total of 8 charts, and topped the charts real-time.
Meanwhile, WINNER will be embarking with Big Bang on their 6 Dome Tour, and their birth marked headlines in China with its largest video sharing site, YouKu, having an average of 120,000 views for the program. The last battle on YouTube recorded over 200,000 views.

[INTERVIEW] 131030 WINNER’s Interview with Osen

G Entertainment’s Team A from their rookie survival program WIN: WHO IS NEXT was chosen to be the final winner, and ahead of their official debut they have stated, “We’re exploding from nervousness”.
WINNER consists of five members, namely Lee Seunghoon, Kim Jinwoo, Kang Seungyoon, Nam Taehyun, and Song Minho. OSEN met with WINNER on the 30th to hear their comments about the final debut, their feelings for their debut, and their future goals.
Kim Jinwoo: “I still haven’t realized it yet, that we won the final battle. I will strive to keep the title of WINNER clean and shiny without any scratches on it.”
Nam Taehyun modestly said: “We’re not debuting just yet. Until the day we debut, we will not slack off nor slow down in order to fill in the lacking places that YG and we agree on. Until the day we debut, we will continue to work hard.”
Earlier appearing on Mnet’s “SUPERSTAR K2”, MBC’s “High Kick 2: Revenge of the Short-Legged” as well as making his debut as a solo artist, Kang Seungyoon said: “It’s the first time in my life that I have ever gotten #1. I’ve been Superstar K’s Kang Seungyoon, High Kick’s Kang Seungyoon, ‘Instinctively’s Kang Seungyoon. I’ve been many Kang Seungyoons but now I am just proud to have the name of WINNER after taking part in so many different activities.
Song Minho: “With the finals, the stage was very hectic so I don’t think I ever said thank you to our fans. With the cheering and voting, I really just want to say to our WINNER fans, ‘Thank you’”
And we ended it with Lee Seunghoon talking about how the group is being mentioned as the ‘second Big Bang’: Our Big Bang seniors are one of the top icons in the music industry. Like those seniors who carried out Korea’s culture, I hope that we too can be a team where we can carry out Asian culture. We hope that we can be artists that will not damage our senior’s reputation.”, showing his big ambitions for the future.
On another note, Team A’s victory in ‘WIN’ have earned them the title of “WINNER” and starting from mid-November, they will be embarking with Big Bang to accompany them for their Japan Dome Tour as the opening acts. The group is expected to officially debut in December or early next year.

[ANN] Regarding the Postings of Team B on YG Princes
To our lovely followers,
After much discussion with our staff, YGPrinces will be updating for both WINNER (Team A) and Team B. There are many fans that have expressed their wishes for us to update both and many staff members have wished for it as well, especially since many people who have followed the WIN program have already equated both Team A and Team B to the title of ‘WINNER’, so the YGPrinces community will indeed continue to keep fans updated about Team B as best as we can in addition to WINNER.
That said, there will be a few changes. With YG’s recent statement about how Team B will continue to train under YG but may face member replacement, we do not know if the future debut of Team B will consist of the same members they have now. Because of this, we have decided to take the step of changing all photos of team B that have been taken up to now to mark them as Pre-Debut photos, and we will be changing the tags for them as well, when WINNER (Team A) debuts in December/January.
If and when Team B’s debut is announced, we will re-organize the tags again and continue to update, so that people will still have a place to express their happiness and find the latest updates on both groups. By that time, we hope to also become a united international fansite and forum for both the fans of WINNER and the future of Team B where both fandoms can have a peaceful and fun place to communicate with each other instead of being divided.
Please note, however, that if there are any members that leave YG to join another company and debut in another group, we will not be updating them.
Being a forum for WINNER, we will primarily focus on updating WINNER/Team A’s news on the forums, while also posting the occasional updates for Team B. Our emphasis is given to Team A, though we also aim to become a place where Team B fans can also group together and talk with both each other and the fans of WINNER>
