[REMINDER] Do not mention the show’s name for YouTube links

Regardless of whether it’s on Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube, etc. please do not mention the show’s name if you’re sharing the YouTube links. They are not disclosed for a reason, and that reason is because the moment you associate the show’s name with the YouTube links, you-know-who can easily track it down and delete our videos.

And if you noticed on Twitter, there’s also a reason why we either DM the links or post it on Twitter without the name. For our masterlist, we also only use the Dailymotion links, so that the ‘powers that be’ cannot track down the videos we have put on YouTube. 

If you’re sharing the Dailymotion links, we don’t mind if you mention the show’s name, whether it’s in the comments or on social networks. That’s completely fine with us. 

But once you put the show’s name with the YouTube links, that just basically blows back all of our hard work and the efforts we made to protect the videos from being blocked, especially since a good majority of people prefer to view it on YouTube rather than Dailymotion. 

So please do not mention the show’s name on Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube, etc. if you’re sharing the YouTube links. Thank you

Taehyun:

I’m not sure exactly when it began, I think that there were a lot of moments that will suddenly make me think of how badly I wanted to create music. One of the artists I like include Jean-Michael Basquiat. Even though he’s not a singer, I respect his style as an artist.

If you want me to summarize myself: “Someone who looks strong and will help you with anything. In reality, just a warm maknae.” (Laughs) I’m someone who you will definitely not get tired of. Not even once. In fact, my marriage will definitely not be dull, and I’m the style that will confess first.

The most difficult but also the happiest time was the moment when I heard the results of WIN: Who is Next.

Jinwoo:

There’s too many artists that have impacted me. It’s really very difficult to single out and pick just one. I hope that one day, I will become a shining star. When I think that we will be debuting under the name of WINNER, I want to become a determined person who is as strong as a diamond that will be able to pass through any obstacles. 

For dates, I think that who I’m meeting is very important. I’m one of those people that like to tackle problems head-on, so I don’t think that I will fight very much with my other half. I think that I will be very dedicated to my girlfriend.

After finishing the Seibu stage, we met up with the Big Bang seniors. We said, “We will do better tomorrow!” and then GD answered us, “You have to work hard tomorrow too~”

Seungyoon

I think it happened around when I was in 6th grade. Coincidentally on TV, I saw a Korean singer’s concert where a fan was in tears. That was such a beautiful scene to me to where I got goosebumps. That was the moment where I decided that I wanted to be a singer. I’ve always been a straightforward person, so I nag my members a lot. I’m the Super Nagger leader (Laughs)

I’m the style that will take the initiative to confess to a girl. I can confidently say, “Don’t worry about not having anything to talk about with me.” In addition, I’m also someone that has the ability to pen a song as a present for my girlfriend.

Although our performance and introductions in Japanese for the Seibu stage is very lacking and I need to reflect, I don’t regret it at all. Seungri sunbae gave us a lot of tips for greeting in Japanese!

Song Minho

I began to like hip-hop when I was in fourth grade, and so, I began to listen to foreign music. Of course, I also listen to Korean music. I think that I’m the moodmaker in our team.

If I found someone that I like, I am confident that I can always make her happy! From the past and even now, I have always been the one that confesses first, so if there’s a chance in the future, I want to hear someone confess to me.

The day before our Seibu stage, I was very nervous even as I went to sleep, imagining the stage that we would be on tomorrow. Seeing how there were some fans who were holding up our own names or our team name, I felt very ecstatic. So I thought, “So there are people who are noticing us as well”

Lee Seunghoon:

I was influenced by a noona who was a fan of idol groups. The first time I danced on stage was when I was in fifth grade. I couldn’t get the sound of applause and support out of my head. At that time, I though that I must definitely stand on stage. My goal is G-Dragon sunbae! Personally, I like the way he dresses himself. He is someone who has had great influence on me, whether it’s in music or fashion. 

If you want me to summarize my personality: Slam Dunk’s Hanamichi Sakuragi. I practice so diligently everyday that I even think that I am a genius. (Laughs) For example, if the girl that I like is Japanese, in order to be able to talk to her, I will fervently learn Japanese! Also, her number will be #1 on my speed dial.

With the program WIN: WHO IS NEXT and the 11 trainees are separated into two teams to battle, under the confirmation of Big Bang and 2NE1, Mnet commenced a live broadcast of the final battle. In the end, Team A with its five members acquired the victory, gaining the name of WINNER. WINNER’s Hello WINNER fanmeeting in Japan had over 8,000 fans attending.

[Top Right] With superstars such as Big Bang and 2NE1 under its roster, [YG] has finally pushed out a survival show WIN: WHO IS NEXT for their new boy group after seven years. The five people who came from the program broadcasted in Korea, even before their debut they have embarked on Big Bang’s six Dome Tour concerts as the opening act. Their solo event attracted over 8,000 fans, making them a super rookie with superior abilities.

The first impression is very important
Being the first stage for WINNER, how did you feel when you stood on Seibu Dome yesterday of Big Bang senior’s Six Dome tour

Seungyoon: At that moment my heart was filled, because it was the first time we had ever performed before such a large audience.

Minho: It was really exciting. My heart was about to burst. Within the members, I was probably the happiest one (Laughs)

Jinwoo: From the fans of our seniors, I saw fans that were holding up placards for us, and I couldn’t believe it. Of course, I was also very happy as well

Taehyun: After seeing our senior’s stage, I really felt that there was a lot that we were still lacking for our performances. I’m very grateful that we were able to join them for their dome tour, it is an honor. I hope that in the very last Tokyo dome performance, the fans will be able to see our growth and development. 

Other than Seungyoon, I heard that this is everyone else’s first time coming to Japan. The most recent Japanese word/phrase you have learned is…?

Minho: Because the first impression is very important when meeting someone for the first time, so greetings are a must!

Seunghoon: "I will work hard" I think that there are no other phrases that I need to learn other than the ones that will show support (Laughs)

Was there anything you anticipated when you came to Japan

Seungyoon: I wanted to go to Harajuku because we all like to walk in the streets and look for clothes. 

Taehyun: I wanted to go to Fuji-Q Highland because I wanted to ride the rollercoasters.

To the artists born in Korea, Fuji-Q Highland is known for its scream-inducing rollercoasters as well as it’s haunted houses…

Minho: I want to try it!!

(Other than Taehyun, all the other members nodded)

Taehyun: (With a sad face) I hate haunted houses

Lastly, everyone’s goal is?

Seungyoon: To be like Big Bang seniors. Not differentiating between males or females, not aiming towards any particular age group, but to exist for all of our fans over the world.

Minho: Even though there are many places where we are still lacking, our strong points are that we can create lyrics, compose, and choreograph, etc. I want to protect WINNER’s colors and also produce unique pieces
